The Tale of the Shepherd Boy

At the center of the enchanting rolling hills, resided a boy named Shepherd. His life was essentially pure, simple yet virtuous. His main role was essentially to look after his flock of rams.

Their soft bleating and the murmuring of the wind through the solo tree on the mountaintop were his only co-dwellers. Day upon day, looking out for his charges instilled in him a sense of calm satisfaction.

His tale of this shepherd boy has been passed down generations as a mediaeval parable to teaching the importance of honesty, the implications of dishonesty and the risks of false alarms. Moreover, it stresses how trust once lost, is difficult to regain. It's a story as pertinent today as it was then.
